Epy Joel is a licensed hairstylist with 24 years in the industry. He specializes in makeup, color, color correction, keratin treatments and inspired haircuts and styles for all.  He is from Bayamon, PR but moved to Miami, FL pursuing exposure and growth on his professional career. 

Growing up Epy Joel wanted to be a doctor to help people improve their health and well-being. But family situations turned his life around and now, through the beauty industry he has found a way to do just that. 

He is a consultant and educator  for different beauty brands and a bridal makeup specialist.
Epy Joel has worked on beauty pageants, fashion editorials, magazines, advertising campaigns and fashion shows for many internationally known designers. His work has been displayed on big TV chains like Telemundo, Univision, CNN, Bravo, Netflix and in projects like Latin Grammy Awards, Latin Billboards Music Awards, Latin American Music Awards, Premios Juventud and Premios Lo Nuestro.

He has worked with big celebrities like Olga Tañón and Patricia Manterola. 

He also worked as part of the glam team for Miss Universe international, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. He was part of the expert panel for the Miss Universe Puerto Rico reality show “De quien es la corona” and also part of the host for the “L’oreal’s VIP Room” on the backstage of the crowning night of Miss Universe Puerto Rico.

He continues to expand on his knowledge of the industry by attending classes and hair shows to learn from the industry's best and top leaders. Education is key to success in this industry as styles and trends are always changing.

He works onsite all over the US and outside styling hair for special events. He has traveled to New York, California, Texas, Nevada, London, Bulgaria, Ireland, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Chile and many more countries for work. Although he travels often, he always has time to work behind the chair taking care of all his clients in the salon.
